newmachine – “Dale Woods” as an open album with 3 songs including “Dale Woods” original released July 2010, my remix of “Dale Woods”, “Machine” – guitar original recorded during 1991, mixed September 2010, yet. Recordings are available from September 15, 2010.

Recent:

newbreed – “newbreed EP”this EP was released in early 1996 as a demo casette with more songs. Because the old demo cassette is lost, I remember only these two songs and so I re-released these songs as EP. First song was created in december 1995 year. I was inspired by destructed nature in our country. Second song was created in early 1996 year. Subsequently this song was dedicated to my friend, who died in summer 1996 in military service. These songs was influenced of the sound by the album “Vae Solis” by SCORN.  Recording is available from July 28, 2010.

Here are a links on “rar” formats of albums with MP3s (320kbps) and covers:

Wounds – A Strange House (The Inventor)

Posted 10:00 pm (UTC/GMT), Thursday, October 22nd, 2009 by drought

Hey guys, finally finished the song. Since I’m a newbie it took some time to get it ‘right’. It still needs a few tweaks, but I’m more or less happy and ready to show it to people.

The piece was inspired by Metropolis. Particularly by this scene and the character of Rodwang. I want to make a whole album inspired by the old classic but time will tell what will turn out.

Enjoy!

Of course if you have anything to say to a newbie I’d be more than grateful.

Cheers.

Roncsipar 2nd and 3rd: monolithic industrial rock’n'roll

Posted 3:45 pm (UTC/GMT), Tuesday, May 12th, 2009 by Roncsipar

Greetings von das Cupcake Reich! This is BassT, and these are my band Roncsipar’s releases. We play monolithic industrial rock’n'roll, and are very influenced by OLD, Pitch Shifter, early Scorn, Godflesh, Stereolab, Swervedriver, classic musique concréte, late 60s tropicalia movement, krautrock, and pretty much everything cool & psychedelic that was around ’67-74.

We have a guitar, bass, drum-machine lineup, mainly do our own songs, but we also like to rearrange pieces from our favourites. Like Hatred Surge-era Napalm Death with wah-psych parts, and forthcoming takes on Tangerine Dream, Swans & obscure soviet-era eastern european TV/radio media signals.

Pulsation / Luktetes

RONCSIPAR – PULSATION (2006) 84 MBytes

Our second release, and our first one that we think is not horrible. Mainly resembles of Godflesh’ Tiny Tears EP meets Klaus Schulze-on-a-heavy-metamphetamine-trip. Has mixes by James Plotkin himself and fellow Avalancher noiseicians such as Savier and SHJK. Tracklisting is:

  1. DPT
  2. Caught…in a Dream (Napalm Death cover)
  3. Chronovortex
  4. Urine Love (OLD cover)
  5. Pulsation
  6. Only Light Exists
  7. DPT (Savier mix)
  8. Only Light Exists (SHJK Voodoo dub)
  9. Urine Love (Mixed by J. Plotkin)

Have I told you we sing in hungarian? Well, I did now. That’s because we live in Hungary, and we don’t want to have hungrish lyrics, so english lyrics will have to wait ’til we’ll get to live several months in an english-spoken enviroment. Also, we like to collaborate. If you’ve got a band of similar interests, look us up and throw a message at our myspace. So watch out, here’s our third release.

Roncsipar - Concrete waste California / Betonsivatag Kalifornia

RONCSIPAR – CONCRETE WASTE CALIFORNIA (2007) 106 MBytes

This one’s a bit heavier and much more colorful. You can hear Pitch Shifter & Formula-era OLD all over it with bits of Loop, Gore, and early 90s post-rock chewed up and pushed into extremely dissonant territories. Has a nice trippy booklet with Giger influenced paintings. Tracklisting follows as:

  1. Concrete Waste California
  2. Crimson Osculation
  3. Return to the Vacuum Litany
  4. Where Is Your God Now?
  5. Mute
  6. Eranthis Relished Woman
  7. Return to the Vacuum Litany (Cerebral mix by 41939 of Ashes of Atlantis)
  8. Where Is Your God Now? (Carnal mix by Lin of Wet Lips)

Hali: Come With Me

Posted 10:56 am (UTC/GMT), Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 by Panasonic Youth

This is the first track I’ve done for my new project; Hali. I’ve spent much much longer on this than I normally do on my tracks and I’ve used loads of techniques I’ve never used before. This is basically the culmination of everything I’ve learnt about computer composition at university this year. Most of you will probably hear the departure from Tread Softly to a poppier sound. This is probably going to be the final mix although there are a number of things I might change. If I do I’ll re upload it.

I’m very proud of this track and I hope you guys like it as much as I do! Any feedback is appreciated, it’s nice to hear opinions and constructive criticism.

- Hali

Come With Me

Tread Softly No More!

Posted 7:13 am (UTC/GMT), Thursday, March 5th, 2009 by Panasonic Youth

A few of you will probably be familiar with my ambient based Tread Softly project and may be wondering why I haven’t put anything out in so long. Well you can breathe a sigh of relief as I have shelved the dusty old thing. I found it was turning into something it was never intended to be. From now on I shall be releasing solo music under my nick name; Hali, this time with no aesthetic limitations.

As well as this I shall also be releasing music with my friend Frazer under the name Antonym, although this may change despite its inclusion of the name Tony; the name of the creator of all things. Probably. Most named things will probably change, I only named the tracks just now to upload them so I don’t have Frazer’s approval!

Anyway, we’ve knocked together some VERY rough demos for you guys to have a sneak preview! (Cor aren’t you lucky). We’d be interested in feedback. We mainly just want to know what you think of the songs as songs. Particularly; the golden question: is this unique (enough)?

I should also point out we have literally done what came into our heads first and have made no conscious attempt to sound like anyone else or avoid sounding like anyone else. Also for you laptopophobes I should point out that no presets were used in the making of these demos.

Hali: Sound design, Sequencing, Keyboard, Glockenspiel, Backing Vocals (in The Arms of Giants)

Frazer: Electric Guitar, Vocals, Backing Vocals, Lyrics

Concrete/Field: NWA and more

Posted 5:34 am (UTC/GMT), Thursday, March 5th, 2009 by chickenf1sh

concretebanner

Concrete/Field – strttcmptn
- a “remix” of the Explicit Content Only version of NWA’s “Straight Outta Compton”
(see here for more details). Contains swearing (no shit!) and “comedy” ending

Some old shit:

Concrete/Field – homepowerfield
-finally finished last year, this is based around field recordings by Shawn “twerk” Hatfield via the field VST.

Concrete/Field – A New Universe
-slightly more accessible grab on to the drone/doom bandwagon. Contains some guitars and the sound from the first million years after the big bang, compressed to 5 seconds.

After listening back to all these tracks, I realise I am seriously overusing the random granular synthesis effect. I promise to stop now!

Concrete/Field – The 50Hz Hum of Power

Posted 9:13 am (UTC/GMT), Monday, March 2nd, 2009 by chickenf1sh

50Hz Hum
Inspired by the coal-fired power stations of Northern England and generated entirely from processed 50Hz sine waves (50Hz being the frequency of UK mains AC electricity) – this is late night listening for grey industrialists.

My first fully-realised “album”, this has been described as “Dr Who music” by my wife and some blokes off the internet.

Get it here.
