With the huge projections at Roadburn I can just see it work. From what I read I got the impression that they will play only songs from "Transcendence..."

We’re really excited to announce that reunited Dutch doomsters Celestial Season will perform their influential, groundbreaking second album, Solar Lovers in its entirety for the first time ever at Roadburn Festival 2012 on Saturday, April 14th, Midi Theatre in Tilburg, Holland.

Meh, I just sold that.

I think I'll just pass on Roadburn this year.

I think I have that on mp3, not that impressed with it. The Vienna cover is...well....strange.

That's why I bought it in the first place. I have a soft spot for Ultravox. Overall it's a mediocre cover and basically a bad My Dying Bride/ early Paradise Lost copy.

Yeah it's a pretty standard doom metal album from the early/mid nineties, nothing groundbreaking. The one album I have is Chrome which I like.

Good lord, in that case I will be forced to endure your company TWICE this year.

Do you already have accomodations booked for the welsh hordes or will you camp in the woods?

A mate who own a ticket shop told me that Killing Joke will play two German dates (Munich/Frankfurt) right after Roadburn. Might go for that instead...

That is an argument I can hardly withstand. The threat to be beaten with a tiny stick by a welsh man makes me rethink my plans.

You're a bunch of FASLERs (if thats a word)! lol

I actually quite enjoy that album, it was definitely a breath of fresh air to my ears when it came out... the whole doom/death thing was stagnating fast but the groove from Celestial Season was definitely my cup of tea. Much more enjoyable than MDBs 'the angel and the dark river' that came out at the same time... Mad

Would I want to see the whole album though Confused

I'm still waiting for MDB 'turn loose the swans' and Anathema 'Serenades' and I suppose Autopsy 'mental funeral' wouldn't be too hard on the ears.

Looking more and more like the names have changed quite a bit from my list I've seen for the Voivod curated day. What time to the days usually start and end? That's a lot of bands.

How about the festival actually moving to Wales?

Actually, here is a list of things that needs to happen in Wales:

Hellfest - Currated by Blackmark and headlined by DOOM
Supersonic - Currated by Blackmark and headlined by DOOM
Mark-Fest - Currated by Blackmark and headlined by DOOM
Black-Fest - Currated by Blackmark and headlined by DOOM
Download - cancelled
Sonisphere - Currated by Blackmark and headlined by DOOM and not featuring Metallica
T In The Park - Currated by Blackmark and headlined by DOOM
Gathering of the Tribes - Currated by Blackmark and headlined by DOOM and featuring Ian Astbury after a diet
Jason BR Spoken Word Rants About Everything - Currated by Blackmark and headlined by DOOM
Scorn - just Scorn, in Mark's b(l)ack yard, which is called Cardiff I think

And that's just January.
